Miami, FL (February 18, 2009) – CIM, a leading manufacturer and distributor of a complete line of machines for industrial metal tag and dog tag marking, announces the introduction of our new MDT500HE dog tag and medical alert tag embossing machine. CIM is the #1 supplier of dog tag machines to the US Military where the MDT500 product is the preferred product that has been exclusively designed for fully automatic instant issuance of dog tags and medical alert tags.
The new MDT500HE offers similar attributes to the MDT500 PLUS machine, both are a fully automatic machines for dog tags and medical alert tags. However the new, and enhanced MDT500HE also includes an innovative built in keyboard, an auto sensing power supply, and has interchangeable input hoppers that makes it easy to switch between different tag types. It is a truly portable and compact machine with an easy-to-carry handle. The machine is ideal for marking of low to medium tag volumes.

The new MDT500HE embossing system represents an innovative evolution of the previous model, preserving the reliability and ruggedness of the latter. It has been sensitively changed, aiming to make it more user-friendly, compact, and ergonomic. An industry first is the optional USB Key that comes pre-installed with the BLADE Lite software application allowing the creation of jobs away from the machine. Simply insert the USB key in the machine and it will run the job from the USB Key automatically.
